Pioneer Park: Kid Zone with Jump House, Inflatable Slide and Obstacle Course, Food Trucks, Kid Friendly Vendors

Over 21 Crowd:

  • Black Dog Brewery - Will have their building open to the over 21 crowd as well as a Glow Party with Live Music from 9:30pm-12am on Sat. 6th. Buy Tickets
  • Pioneer Park - Will have a beer truck for the Live Music on Saturday the 6th from 6-9pm

What you need to know!
 
Mooresville is rated 12th in the nation for 2024 Eclipse Viewing! Morgan County is ranked 3rd in the state for Totality at 3m 52.8s!
 
We have an estimation of 45-80k people to our area! This means Traffic, 911, and even Grocery Stores will be overloaded. There are ways you can prepare for this.

  • Mid-eclipse: 3:07:32 PM
  • Total eclipse ends: 3:09:28 PM

Traveling Tips
  • Fill up your gas tank before Friday the 6th of April
  • Do not stop along the interstate or shoulder.
  • Exit the highway to view or photograph the event
  • Do not take photos while driving.
  • Turn on Headlights
  • Watch for Pedestrians
  • Expect traffic congestion Friday - Monday all day.
  • Plan to come Early and Stay late

 

Emergency Runs

  • Expect gaps in fuel and EMS runs
  • Expect time delays for all emergency responders
  • State agencies need to look at mutual aid
  • Having First Responders Ready in different areas of the community.

 

Community

  • If you can, please stay home the day of.
  • Get your groceries, medications, and fuel the Wednesday and Thursday before.
  • If you must work that day, plan for long delays and alternate routes
  • Limited cellular availability as well as slowed internet speeds.
